The Kooks are an English indie rock band formed in 2004 in Brighton. The band's original line-up consisted of Luke Pritchard (vocals/guitar), Hugh Harris (guitar), Max Rafferty (bass) and Paul Garred (drums). They gained popularity with their debut album "Inside In/Inside Out" in 2006, which spawned the hit singles "Naive" and "She Moves in Her Own Way". The Kooks' music is characterized by catchy melodies, upbeat rhythms, and Pritchard's distinctive voice. Over the years, the band has released several successful albums, including "Konk" in 2008 and "Junk of the Heart" in 2011. They have toured extensively and gained a loyal fan base worldwide. Despite some lineup changes and periods of inactivity, The Kooks have continued to release new music and perform live.
