Pat Fritz is a German former football player and coach. He was born on November 8, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany. Fritz began his career as a player for Eintracht Frankfurt, where he played as a defender. He went on to represent West Germany at the 1958 FIFA World Cup. After retiring from playing, Fritz turned to coaching. He became the manager of several German clubs, including Bayer 04 Leverkusen and 1. FC Nürnberg. He also coached the national teams of Saudi Arabia and South Korea. Fritz was known for his tactical acumen and disciplined coaching style. He passed away on February 8, 2014, at the age of 84.
