Jennifer Rostock is a German rock band formed in 2007. The band's name derives from the lead singer's name, Jennifer Weist, and the US city, Rockford. They gained popularity with their debut album, "Ins offene Messer," which led to success in Germany's rock scene. Their music style is characterized by energetic rock sound combined with electronic elements and punk influences. They released several successful albums and singles, like "Du willst mir an die Wäsche," "Himalaya," and "Ein Schmerz und eine Kehle." However, despite their success, the band decided to take a break in 2019. Jennifer Weist continued her music career as a solo artist, and the other band members pursued their own projects.
